Student life

Who am I:

My name’s Joshua Eferem and this is my blog on the student life here at Seneca@York. As a Student now I’ve been here for just about 2 semesters and 3/4, and it’s been quite the experience. Throughout this blog you will get a glimpse of how life as a student is in my eyes. Also you will hear some of the things I think need improvement and something that’s extraordinary. Without further ado, let’s begin .

Seneca@York Food/Hangout Spots/ Library/ Classes:

Let’s begin with the food on campus shall we. I’m very picky eater and by picky I mean only that I stick to the food that I know. I don’t go out of my way to ever try something new (unless of course someone pays for me :p, then and only then I have no problem.) Frankly the food on campus sucks, the tim hortons just doesn’t do it for me and the 5$ pizza slice, yeah slice, not slices are just asinine. To think you’re already spending thousands of dollars academics and you think they would give you a break and make it easier on you, but it’s quite frankly the complete opposite. They overcharge for everything, and to tell you the truth don’t be surprised. I normally never eat on the Seneca campus I make my way over to the York lanes cafĂ© where there’s better food but not by a lot. But if I would recommend something to eat I would definitely tell you to head to falafel hut and get yourself there 5 dollar plate of rice, chicken and vegetable. Best deal on campus and if you’re not into the vegetable thing like me tell them to give you extra rice and you’ll be so contempt on what you got with how much you spent.

There absolutely no Seneca spots, OH WAIT LOL there’s only the hive but that place rarely is the place to hangout for me and my friends. The only time I find myself at the hive is when I see a girl that’s good looking other than that, that place is honestly not the place to be. Other than the hive I find myself at the Seneca gym just playing basketball or sometimes hangout watching other people play basketball. Other than that honestly the second I’m done class I’m out of the school and on my way home.

The library is a state of the art one, well at least to me. The library comes to in handy and there system on how to get certain information on certain topics is outstanding. The library also has a lot of people to assist you and honestly when it’s your first day at school and you need help boy do they come to the rescue.

Me being a radio broadcasting student I actually adore the classes. My classes are small and the teachers do a phenomenal job on making sure everyone gets what they’re doing. They go over everything diligently and go point by point so everyone understands. Yes, sometimes the classes are long and you don’t want to be there but. Every day you learn something new, and you always try to apply the knowledge you r thought as best you can. The only problem I have with the classes are the time but then again I can’t blame the classes for that one because they have nothing to do with when there scheduled
